Optima Foods will participate at the prestigious Summer Fancy Foods Show, introducing the alfa Spinpie and Polis Pita Chips to the American public. The Show will be held at the Jacob K.Javits Center in New York, July 9 – 11. Optima Foods is located in booth number 5073. Show hours are 10am-5pm Sunday-Monday and 10am-4pm on Tuesday. Alfa’s Spinpie, better known as kihi in Greece, is a phyllo-dough pie. Unlike similar products, like Spanakopita, the Spinpie is produced by spinning the phyllo dough to create its circular shape. This is a frozen product that can be easily stored and prepared in less than 40 minutes. Polis’s Pita Chips will be offered as a healthy alternative to traditional snacking. At the Show, industry attendees will be able to try all four different flavors, plain pita, greek pita, pesto and cinnamon. Optima Foods, Inc. continues to promote premium and innovative Greek food brands to the American consumer.
