MEEKRO Unregistered Property in Greece       Thu Aug 09 2001 09:37 AM Edit   Reply   Quote   Quick Reply   Is anyone familiar with the laws about owning property in Greece? My Mother has rights to property that was left to her by her father. She has not lived there since the 50's. Apparently her cousin that lives on half the property has taken it over. My Mother never signed any papers allowing her to do that. There is a strange twist to this, all records of my Mother's & Grandfathers birth on their island have been removed. My mother has an attorny from Athen working on it. Does anyone have any insight into the laws or have any experience in this matter? Post Extras
