I think this is a great opportunity for the diaspora to be involved in a history-making event, if they should choose to do so. Greece is such a small country that it truly needs assistance in great volumes to pull this off.

For those who can volunteer....bravo pedia!

greece has enough of young people to do this job. But they are damn lazy. I dont see the reason why american greeks should help out, when all they get is crap in the end. Let them struggle on their own. sinehia oi alloi tha vgazoume to fidi apo tin tripa?

Arapia

If you don't want to help you don't have to.

Yes Greece can do it on it's own but it's nice to give the chance to a lot of Greeks outside of Greece to participate so they can be a part of the upcoming Olympic Games.

Do you know what the word ETHELONTIS means in Greek?

the word ethelondis my friend for the greeks means work without money. I wont even begin to get to the disasters this leads to. My point is quite simple. Ap ti mia den tous theloun tous amerikanous kai apo tin alli - "vgale to fidi apo tin tripa". this is what i dont agree to.....
No, you are right, i wont help out, and i wont even go to the games simply because i have given enough. Let them get off their lazy ass and do some work for their country. We have spoon fed them enough.

I agree and the worst part is even after we help they still are not grateful for all we have done and they like to take all the credit.

With the attidue they have I still say 2004 games are still questionable.

Is it possible to tell us how have you ever helped?

Yes the word Ethelontis means no money.

I don't think they are looking for Greek Americans only.... they are looking for Greeks all over the world.

You can stay home we don't need you anyway.

thank you anonymous, but i dont need you to tell me if i am correct with what the word ethelondis means. Try giving your lessons to the greeks.

They are looking for ga's (thats what the post said) but im sure they're looking for greeks all over the world "omogenis".

Stay home? you dont need us?
