THE WORLD COUNCIL OF HELLENES ABROAD (SAE)
are jointly organizing the first ELLINIADA, an international celebration of the youth & young adults of Hellenism, through Sporting Competition & Cultural Events in Thessaloniki, the Capital of Ecumenical Hellenism.
ELLINIADA will include individual and team Sports.
TEAM SPORTS:
Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Hockey
INDIVIDUAL SPORTS:
Track & Field, Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Aquatics, Tennis
(Anyone interested in coaching will also be interviewed)
CULTURAL EVENTS:
Musical Performances, Film Festivals, Book Fairs from Greek Authors
The deadline for applications is closing soon. Please fill out your application so that you can be notified for tryouts in early spring.
ELLINIADA is to take place the last 2 weeks in June, and the final teams will have expenses paid to and from Greece as well as their stay for 2 weeks.
