Nikoliadis (Club President of AEK) continues to push for the completion of the new "AEK Sports and Leisure Centre" in Athens after continuous failed attempts and interventions by locals and the Municipality of Nea Philadelphia (refer to news article of 20/05/05 @ http://www.stadia.gr/news/news-20-5-2005.html for more info).
However, rumour has it (at present) that construction plans on the site of the old Nikos Goumas Stadium in Nea Philadelphia may well proceed once again (and hopefully be completed sometime in 2006).
