El Cóndor Pasa (The Flight of the Condor) is an ancient andean melody compiled by Daniel Alomia Robles (peruvian). It was composed from Inca time. It shows some variations according the place and is listened in Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. Daniel Alomia used the melody called zarzuela´s pride. Nowadays, El cóndor Pasa is probably the most important andean melody and latinamerica music.
