I know, she has 5 brothers and sisters and there lies the problem. No one wants to split up a family and the Greek laws have to be strict to ensure that the children are happy and I am sure that a concern is that they remail "Greek" and "Greek Orthodox". If I was a rich person, I would adopt these beautiful children in a heartbeat, if they let me. But unfortunately charities like SOS have to exist. It is unfortunate that we still have to have children living in orphanages, but I mean, in this day and age where people wait on waiting lists for years to adopt children, it just seemed incredibly strange to me that a beautiful child like her would be an orphan still - they don't even live in foster homes. I just felt sad, but I am sure she and her brothers and sisters are well taken care of. I guess the least I can do is send my donation.
