Nominations for the 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards for the period of June 1, 2004 through May 31, 2005, were announced on July 14th, 2005, by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre, North Hollywood, California, USA. The "Opening Ceremony" of the 28th Olympic Games "Athens 2004", received a nomination in the category Outstanding Lighting Direction (Electronic, Multi-Camera) for VMC Programming Eleftheria Deko and Theodore Tsevas are the greek nominees, who might win for Greece an Emmy award at the 57th Annual Creative Emmy Awards Ceremony on Sunday, September 11, 2005.
