Re: Ronald Reagan Dies 1911-2004

He was one of my favorite U. S. President's by far.
One of the reasons I admired him even as kid back in the 80's was because he challenged the Russians to bring down that wall, and Mr. Gorbachev did and the cold war ended.

I agree he did controversial things, in a way they are similarities with our current President G. W Bush, i remember when then President Reagan challenged the Russians Europeans, democrats were accusing him of starting world war III, but in the end it all worked out for all concern, and today Russians are one of our allies, i think as a President you need to take a stand at what you believe in and Ronald Reagan did that.
People loved him it's evident of the long lines forming to pay their respects to him as he lays at the Reagan Library.
I have the highest respect for our former first lady Nancy Reagan, she stayed by her husbands side until the end a very devoted wife, I got tears in my eyes watching her yesterday embrace her husbands coffin, they loved each other so much.
The Reagens brought so much patriotism respect and love to the white house, he will never be forgotten, may he rest in peace.
