Tom Hanks visits Greece often.

It's his second home there

as far as I know he LOVES Greece and also became a Greek Orthodox.

His favorite Island for the past years was ( still is ) Cephalonia and Fiskardo.

Two years ago he did his vacation there with Bruce Springsteen.
