ANNOUNCEMET

The Greek Cultural Center is currently accepting film submissions for its annual Independent Showcase. The Independent Film & Video Showcase 2003 is open to all independent filmmakers who have completed short and feature length films. Documentaries, animation, experimental, and student films are welcomed. All films will be screened on 16 mm and video. The preferred format is 16mm, if available. Films will be screened Thursday, June 19 through Monday, June 23, 2003 at the Greek Cultural Center in Astoria. The deadline for film submissions is June 9, 2003.

We accept submissions only on VHS. There is NO SUBMISSION FEE.

Please submit:
- A VHS tape labeled with contact info.
- A brief synopsis
- Your bio.
- Total running time
- Screening format (16mm, MiniDV, Beta, etc.)
- Optional: A postage paid self-mailer (if you want your submission returned)

This program will be also presented at the Queens Museum of Art for a three-day run in November 2003. Selections for this program will be based on length and in accordance with the Museum's schedule.
