Holy Trinity Greek Fest 2005
Holy Trinity is proud to sponsor one of the most popular Greek Festivals in the entire Southeast. Held annually, the Festival is our community's opportunity to share three days full of authentic Greek food, music, dancing and more with our neighbors.
Greek Fest 2005 will be held October 14th, 15th, and 16th.
THE HISTORY OF THIS CHURCH
The History of Our Parish
On December 2nd, 1929 the Greek Orthodox Society, Holy Trinity was incorporated. In 1962, property was acquired on West Concord Street in downtown Orlando. On August 8th, 1963 the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America issued the Ecclesiastical Charter and assigned the first full time priest. The current location was purchased in 1980. Services began being held in the Chris Carlos Cultural Center in 1987. On September 8th, 1990 the first services were held in the new Holy Trinity Church. Currently, there are over 550 families on our mailing list. On August 17th, Holy Trinity will break ground on a new cultural center, that will mark another major milestone in the life of our parish. Our parish is named for the Holy Trinity.
