------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The recording of the special show for the presentation of the Greek entry to the 49th Eurovision Song Contest was concluded a few hours ago. The recording took place at "Fever" night club, in Athens. From the very first rehearsal, Sakis Rouvas, the male Greek pop music super-star gave an astonishing performance of the absolutely fabulous "Shake It", the song that will represent Greece in Eurovision2004. A true professional, as always, Sakis managed to enchant everybody with his lively performance. "Shake It" is a modern up-beat latin song, that will for sure become a great hit. Nikos Terzis, the composer, has done his best once again and OGAE Greece thinks that this time Greece is closer to the Eurovision-trophy than ever. "Shake It" will bring to Constantinople the hopes and wishes of all OGAE Greece members for the very best. The Greek media received the news for Sakis participation in Eurovision with very positive comments and optimism. The participation of Sakis Rouvas in Eurovision is a dream-come-true for the Greek Eurovision fans. Sakis is the male pop music super-star of Greece for more than a decade. His great voice, his uncomperable stage performing skills and his great looks have established him as the most succesful male pop music performer in Greece. He has won innumerous awards, his releases become gold and platinum, he has a huge fan club, and he has always been considered by the Greek Eurovision fans as one of the artists that could bring the Eurovision trophy in Greece. Sakis Rouvas will perform the song " Shake It ", accompanied by two female dancers and a chorus consisted of the three EuroStar finalists: Apostolos Psychramis, Antonis Dominos and Gianna Fafaliou. Composer of the song is Nikos Terzis and the lyricist is Nektarios Tyrakis.
The Lyrics
Everytime you wanna play Turn me on, all the way Come to me and take the ride Skin on skin it's pure delight Givin me the passion you're burning my heart Gonna rock you till you drop Baby you're the reason I'm felling so hot Want you now, I just can't stop
I would trade my life For a night with you Driven by desire Make that move on me It’s time for you to see That my world's on fire
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it mi amor Crazy for love Give me some more Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it mi amor Crazy for love Give me some more Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it mi amor Crazy for love Give me some more Forever
Everyday I can't resist Need the taste of your lips Darlin’ it’s your body that’s driving me nuts Let me in, I've got to touch

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Griechenland: Sakis Rouvas

To the Turkish Friend: We call it Constantinopole but this is tottaly irellevant! I have to apologize in behalh of Greeks for the behaviour of the above post of that "Greek" stauckbrained. It is good to see that slowly but steadily people in both countries start to build bridges of friendship. My grandma born in Constantinopole was forcly exciled in the "pogrom" but she was aleays telling me about the excellant relationships she had with most of the Turks.Politics then has been disastrous and created hate.It is time to learn from the past.We can change the climate. It would be the best if this climate is imposed in official decision bilaterally. We complain about Aegean and the violation of our space, and i believe u should make steps in this direction.Take it from another way...what we have gain so many years.Status quo has not changed, but military expenditures and hate increased.Greedings from a Greek patriot to all friendly Turkish people.Lets change the world.Personaly Turks that think like you i will treat them as brothers and i will open my house to them. The best musafirs!Lets change the world my friend-spread it out!!!

First of all those people saying that are STUPID !! and say it out of jealousy and mostly statements like that come out guys who either are jealous of Saki's good looks or who hate pop music or who are communists..i'm sure you have them in Turkey too.
It's a well known fact that Saki dates WOMEN and has been seen around at events with his girlfriend, recently he has been dating an Asian girl or at least that is what gossip magazines write.
Wipe your tears! And buy Saki's CD's

Sakis is very modest (despite his huge appeal) and doesn't like to talk about his personal life. The only affair that we know he haid is his latest with Rebecca Wang. He was asked tonight at an interview if he' s broken up with her 'cause we haven't seen her for a while with him but he refused to answer as always questions about his personal life.

I watched the interview and felt the host of the show was very rude to him he didn't let Saki finish his thoughts and Saki even told him a few times 'let me finish' , but all in all it was great to see him and hear what he had to say , he is a very nice guy and he doesn't have that magkiko attitude that most Greek/European artists have which is very refreshing.

TRUST me, Sakis is definitely NOT gay.
I know what I'm talking about...
In fact I saw him the other day arriving with a girl - who nobody seemed to know - at the Athens City Hall where a party was held in his honour. His manager and other collaborators had arrived earlier. Sakis came later driving his own car and he had this girl with him. They both entered the City Hall where numerous journalists were waiting and of course they left together. The curious thing is that I didn't see her anywhere on TV that night, nor anyone has mentioned her so far...
Makes me wonder...

I'm from Serbia and Montenegro and people here say all kinds of things, but REALY I think he is NOT gay, because, men who doesn't look good, or they even don't try to look god hate everybody who looks verry good, like Sakis! So...Don't cry! And If you need something to cheer you up i have picture of Sakis naked:) If you want you can write me on: boki_filozof@yahoo.com
