One of the most beautiful things that occurs at the Olympics is the beautiful friendships that occur between athletes and fans of different countries and races.
Nikos Kaklamanakis the Greek gold medalist sailor who lit the Olympic torch his best friend, is an Israel sailor athlete, while in Athens competing he is staying at Niko's resident along with his fiance, ANT or ERT did an entire piece on them it was really nice to see.
The Greek Volleyball coach and the U.S. Volleyball coach are very good friends and while in Athens the U. S coach and his family is staying over the Greek coach's house instead of the Olympic village.
Stories that should recieve more media attention.
