Hellenic Forums Omogenia - YASOU - Hellenism: The PanHellenic Scholarship

This Year our Annual Awards Gala, 2005 finds the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation celebrating a kind of "graduation" of its own!

First, we will be awarding ten Scholarship Grants of $10,000 each this year, a total of $100,000, to Greek-American young people who deserve our help due to their academic excellence, and, for the first time in our Foundation's history, for their talent or family circumstances as well.

Second, our Foundation will present its inaugural "Paradigm Awards" at this year's Gala. From the Greek word for example, paradigma, this annual award will be presented to a distinguished Greek-American(s) whose life and career serves as an example not only to us, but to future generations as well. We are honored to be presenting our inaugural "Paradigm Awards" to Sen. Paul Sarbanes of Maryland and Rep. Michael Bilirakis of Florida in recognition of their lives as Greek-Americans and their exemplary careers as public servants.
