Hellenic Forums Omogenia - YASOU - Hellenism: Looking For A Donator Or Sponsor

Hello from Greece.

We are members of the newly establised Youth Philarmonia Band "Philippos Nakas". It was establised last year by the clarinette player Efstathios Kiosoglou, teacher of Philippos Nakas music shool and 1st clarinette in the Athens State Orchestra.

Till now we have made two small concerts and two weeks ago we took part at the concert, called "Kypotheatro", of the known greek composer Nikos Kypourgos in the Megaron Athens Concert Hall, with great success.

Some months ago we recieved an official invitation for a festival at Holland. We will only have to pay our flight tickets, as they will pay our residence and meals. We estimate these expenses at 4000000 drachmas (100000 for each member - we are 40 members). Unfortunately some of our members can't aford even their tickets, so we are trying to find a donator or sponsor to cover the expenses. The Philippos Nakas music school has accepted to cover half of these, which means 2000000 drachmas. So we are looking for a donator to help us with the rest of the money.

We decided to look if any of or fellow-Greeks would be glad to donate these monet to us.We hope that someone will.
