Hi all I moved to Boston about 10 months ago from Greece.
I am thinking of moving to another area because I can not stand the cold here. I need something similar to the Greek climate. I guess that is only California or Florida..? Help me out here..
My company is able to relocate me in any state I choose in the U.S.A and I was thinking of choosing California but the real estate there is outrageously expensive so I am considering Miami, Florida. Is there a Greek community in Miami? I am trying to find a website similar to GreekChicago & GreekBoston but I’ve had no luck. From what my friends are telling me Miami is very different from Boston. It is more laid back, nice beaches, but crime is very high. Personally, I have never been outside of New England so I have no idea. But I think it would be a great place to live at, since I can easily visit Latin America & the Caribbean, which I really want to do.
