Yes he is the reason the cold war is over. I am not sure now if I was safer then (before the end of the cold war) or now.
I also remember Reaganomics, I was still in high school when the teacher brought in the a tv set and we tried to analyse the rates.
I also remember the unemployment lines at the beggining of his presidency in the middle west, his presidency changed all that and as the unemployment numbers came down the National debt when up sky high till Clinton fixed that and then the unemployment % went up again 
Did you know he was only 69 when he became president?
There was no way they could accuse him for any type of monica story.
He was also a great Joker ( not like me ) one of his great lines was after he was shot, he told his wife that he forgot to duck.
