Imho, I would posit that there is no way the omogenia can influence the American election. Therefore to publicly support one or the other candidate can only be harmful to Greek issues if the unsupported candidate wins. The smart tactic is to stay neutral and highlight the positive aspects of both and make friends with the US administration and other US leaders. I think we should all be clear that the only way to infulence (if at all) American foreing policy to be friendly towards Greece is to be supportive of the American leadership, whichever party that may be. Just a thought.
