Authorities in Los Angeles said last night that they had foiled a plot by Jewish radicals in the city to blow up targets in southern California. Two members of the Jewish Defence League, including its chairman, were arrested late on Tuesday by police and FBI agents. Officials said the alleged plotters were ready to strike at their targets and claimed explosives had been delivered to one of them just hours before the arrests.
