I guess skydiving is the kind of sport/thrill that you either love or hate (there's no in betweens). You have to really want to do it to be able to enjoy the experience - otherwise it can be stressful or overwhelming for some. The instructor told me that some people become so panicked and tense that they keep their eyes closed the entire time (totally missing out on all the fun and beauty that surrounds them).
