If your are a "Dopia from Veria" - What does this mean? I have always been told that our family has always been in Veria, unlike for example the Vlach, Pontic and so on, but when I type in Dopia in Google-Wikipedia it says something about slavic-speaking people living in Florina. It says that they dialect is similar to Bulgarian and can be understood by Serbs. I know Dopia mean Local in Greek, isnt that right? I moved from Greece as a child.
