Some words from
Niki Sideris
Chairman
Greek Division
| Ronald McDonald House is a
"home away from home" for children (and their parents) who are undergoing
treatment at New York Metropolitan Area medical centers. The past year alone The Ronald
McDonald House provided temporary lodging for almost four hundred families from thirty six
states and the territories and nineteen foreign countries. In thelast ten years, numerous Greek and Greek-American children have found a loving and secure haven at Ronald McDonald House. Statistically, the organtization has served more Greek children than any other overseas nationality. We of the Greek communtiy can express our gratitude by donating to this very worhty cause. Continued support will help assure the continuity of essential services. While alwasy at capacity the old facility, each week, the Ronald McDonald House had to turn away families for lack of space. Now, however, in our new building on East 73rd Street we will be able to serve three times as many families as we were able to do in the past. To carry out our mission we are appealing to your generocity to fullfill the obligations and pledges made on behalf of the Greek Division. The contributors will be recognized on specially designated plaques. Thank you for your interest and concern. Niki Sideris |
